Writing With Light

I've been taking a photography class through Mesa Community College, a continuing education class. It has been good to have someone explain the different modes on my camera, the exposure, ISO settings, effects of light, aperture, shutter speed, etc. Now if I can just understand what it all means.

This is an Apache Plume. I took a Desert Biology class while I was at Dixie State College in St. George. That was when I started to learn of the beauty the desert has to offer.

 This is a desert sunflower called Brittlebush. They are seen everywhere.

The desert flowers don't last too long, so you'd better hurry if you want to see them.
